Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Happy birthday @Val P and to @peteblue wife Kay, enjoy your day guys.

One thing about having to watch Daisy like a hawk when out is the amount of money I find and not just coins, I find notes as well, just found a tenner this morning, that takes me to about £25-30 this year already, I found roughly £30 last year as well. I'm not complaining, it's bought some essentials this morning, bonus.

Good morning all. Yesterday was very frustrating- I was expecting the hire car to be picked up as I now have a new one of my own. They couldn't give me a time but said between 10 and 5. Nobody came. I waited in all day for them. Then at 7.30 last night I got a text saying sorry we could not pick up your hire car. When we reopen we will schedule a time. This morning, while still in my pjs, at 8.30, there's a knock on the door, hello, we've come for the hire car. So they took it away. An hour later I got a text saying we're on our way to pick up the car. What a palaver!
I’ve booked my first yoga class for next Tuesday- it describes itself as 'restorative yoga'. My yoga mat has arrived so I'm good to go. I'll let you know! I'm fairly sure that on a good day, all concrete post has more flexibility than me so it should be an experience.
Love the Daisy bonus @Terrarian

It took me 3 months before I started to develop any flexibility. I was acutely embarrassed, especially as I was the only bloke in the class.

It took a further 6 months before I had any level of proficiency, so just stick with it and enjoy it.

I can guarantee that in time it will bring real health benefits. I understand that Dom is looking to take up yoga too. Interestingly when I was doing yoga ( also at Bannatynes) a certain Nick Chadwick joined the class and as the only other bloke and being reasonably competent he gravitated towards me. Nice fella.

Morning all. Not up too much, looks like rain again. It must have been windy the other night a few trees on the green around the corner have tipped over.

It's that time of year where it's just sinking in the football season has finished and as frustrating as football is, it still leaves a hole in the weekend.

I'll be spending the day fighting a bloody headache that's here already ffs

Good news for now at least, I still got my limited capacity for work payment, that's a big relief, I don't know how I'd manage without it. I'd much prefer being able to work though, it's definitely not healthy being at home all the time, so glad I have Daisy so at least I must go outside.

Have a good day all.
You need a second sport to watch or failing that, a Netflix subscription.

Good morning all on this threatening day here looks like rain but it might pass .I hope all are well and had a good night . I am researching a disc and pad brake change for our car ,gone are the days you jack it up and get on with it -I have been a while trying to find out how to enter service mode -still not done it ! As the brakes will not retract enough to remove and insert the new pads . It will not beat me as I have Claude on it . Have a great day all , added strength to Pete .COYB
Brakes and electricity are two things not to mess with if you are unsure. Be careful blue.

I found £40 outside Goodison one day, 2 notes looked to be straight out of the machine with a single fold across the middle. Some poor soul had lost that and I literally ate and drank it that day. I still feel kind of guilty but not as if I could hand it in or anything.
