I tend to agree with the three priorities for starters. CF is an interesting one. I think we need to go into the season with three options to choose from. Two experienced and one younger player.
Where Beto fits into that then influences how much you can spend in other positions. Plus of course Dom and Chermiti.

If we stick with the 4-2-3-1 it really requires attacking/overlapping fullbacks who can push right forward and contribute, that's not Myko sadly although he does make for a great squad option.

Great point. Imagine adding Kyle Water-Peters, Angel Gomes and Bryan Mbuemo to the first team. Not only impact from the new players, but also the domino effect on the likes of Beto and Ndiaye.
