He's just brilliant, doesn't rely on his pace either, but actually hasn't lost any, fit as a fiddle, being managed properly, I think we absolutely needed to get this done he's so vital for us on and off the pitch.

We also need to start planning for his replacement, ideally we would bring a young player this season, and bed them in with him over the next season.

Could still have years left in him yet. Especially if he can adapt to just being a sitting player rather than the all action, work machine, ball winner, and general breaker up of play we see now.
 
Glad to hear it! I think hes vital to helping us kick on this season. This and Alcaraz will then allow us to focus on just adding a CM rather than 2-3 and HOPE they work.

Don't see either Garner or Iroegbunam becoming DMs so we need a replacement by next season.
