Dont rule anything out, shippmann had to take a non-football manager job after that lot, or he would have been lynched. He had just had enough of them.

Also, Money talks and TFG will pay him well, the loonies across the park will have forgot about him, especially with snot winning the Pigmol league in his first season.

Can see it happening myself, think he wanted the Madrid job but alonso has done him there, so Roma prob the next biggest job going?

It'd be a great choice. But they need to strengthen the football sector. Gasperini wants a total revolution and revolutions must be supported wholeheartedly by the club. The Friedkins until now have often left their managers alone, facing the storm. I hope Ranieri will make a difference under this point of view. Rumors say he's persoanlly chosen Gasp.

This choice also shows how open minded Ranieri is, as Gasperini's focus on attack and high pressing is far from his own approach.

Even though this season we've seen a less defensive Ranieri. He's able to subject his own ideas to scrutiny.
