minor things that make you fume

Larger companies operating vetinary surgeries are cornering the market, leaving themselves able to overcharge customers as they please. The lack of competition from independent vetinary surgeries leaves pet owners with little choice but to use these larger vets and pay an arm and a leg for doing so.

I use large companies as a term rather than franchises, as I am not sure that these vetinary surgeries are franchises.
Am with medivet...we've got a monthly payment plan with them as well.

Luckily me and missus can swallow but the fact sometimes people have to choose between a massive bill or getting their pet down is absolutely horrendous....it's not right.

Medivet are one of the main culprits for charging sky high prices and were the provider I had in mind, although I am sure there are others.

Read about this the other days funny enough, it’s US Private Equity firms hoovering them all up, essentially exploiting the market the way the US healthcare market is rinsed.
6 US PE firms now own 60% of the UK vet practices, and I dare say they own a chunk of the pet insurance market too.

If there was ever warning for privatisation of the NHS ask a pet owner about Vet fees 😡

Just back from eleven days in Majorca. Five mile runs along the beach at Cala Millor and Sa Coma on nine of the mornings. At least an hour racketball with my lad every day. Gym every other day. Hired bikes on three days and done loads of walking and swimming.

Ate small amounts of food whilst shaking my head at the all inclusive fatties scoffing multiple plates of pizza, chips and burgers.

Back home, onto the scales, gained two pounds.

Claim it’s muscle gain if it makes you feel better 😜😜

There’s only one thing worse than a bass solo.
A glockenspiel solo.

By choice and careful planning I live in a small quiet town in the countryside.

A neighbour moved in, from Swindon, last year and brought the city with them. Now I might as well live in London ffs.

I can't even cut the wires for this eyesore because they've festooned the place with cctv.

Who put a castle tower and turret on their second floor and lit it up? Seems like its a free for all.
