She ripped one off while she was playing in the park with our other dog so we took her the vet to get it checked out he told all her claws needed shorting.

So here in lays the problem, Because she's a Romanian rescue she absolutely hates men touching her coz she's was badly abused,so he told us he needed to put her out while he did it....come back an hour later to a drowsy dog and a bill for £420.

Larger companies operating vetinary surgeries are cornering the market, leaving themselves able to overcharge customers as they please. The lack of competition from independent vetinary surgeries leaves pet owners with little choice but to use these larger vets and pay an arm and a leg for doing so.

I use large companies as a term rather than franchises, as I am not sure that these vetinary surgeries are franchises.
