2024/25 Jack Harrison

I think we can afford to be a little charitable in our assessment, I think he was only recruited due to our PSR situation and he certainly had a crack for us in a pretty shitty time. I must admit I always wanted him to do well. He gave us two years and now we can move on.

But that ponytail at the end. Jack mate have a think

He’s coming back isn’t he…. :-(

Moyes is just waiting until the end of the window so we don’t have to pay him over the Summer, isn’t he.

I wonder where Moyes stands if Leeds make him available for loan again.🫣
I doubt that happens and also the loan clause will be gone now back in the prem, so they will look to sell id imagine, just hope some other mugs fall for it, be a shocking signing if we do. Again it would go against what TFG want to do

Nothing against him, as always, not his fault he gets picked but he just doesn't produce what he's there for which is to create goals and chip in with some himself.

He's been part of one of the worst frontlines I've ever witnessed in the top flight.

I don't suppose Dyche's tactics helped that much though tbf.

I don't disagree, but I don't like to see the flippant farewells. He worked hard, and I appreciated the effort. There's too much negativity.
Not sure I was being flippant there - he was a loan player to bolster the squad who ended up getting a lot of games over 2 seasons because he both epitomises the Dychean way and we had injuries to Lindstrom and McNeil. At the end of the day he is good enough to be a squad player in the Premier League and we should be grateful for that. Hard worker but lacked a trick or two.

Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to the general tone of a lot of surrounding posts in the thread, not to you. People sound angry with him for not being good enough.

Sits squarely in the tries-but-not-great category of acquisitions that epitomizes 'covid' era Everton.

Keane, Doucs, Harrison, Lindstrom, danjuma, Beto, chermiti, Tim etc

Miko barely scrapes above this, likewise Paterson.

Beto working hard to turn a corner, Miko likewise, Doucs has popped up at crucial moments.

We must stop accepting this type of player and stop rewarding kack recruitment with typical Everton loyalty.

It only serves to prolong our struggles.
