There are plenty of white terrorists in the world Matty, I think perhaps the bigger lesson is, despite the desire, not to attempt to deal in certainties when you have a lack of information. Even when it's an emotional situation such as this.

Well, at it's most basic definition, a 'terrorist' is someone whose intention is to deliberately invoke 'terror' in others.

So, by that definition, if you're just a teacher at a school, and your means of ensuring that the students behave is to be a complete asshole, and terrorise them into acting accordingly by creating an environment of fear, then you'd be a 'terrorist'.

If you knew yeah but we don't know the full circumstances yet, he could well have been unaware of the delays?

From where he was there is a side street you can turn down to get away from water street (covent gardens?) you could feasibly pull in the mercure hotel to turn back and head away from the strand?

And not condoning it, but if people had tried to open his door and attack him for whatever reason, I can understand the reaction of trying to get away....

Fight or flight has a funny effect on people causing them to behave in ways a rational person wouldn't.

Again, not justifying it, just trying to get my head round it.

There’s no logic to it-could his car have been parked near the Strand? I can’t imagine why anyone would choose to drive down there.

The footage is shocking. How is it even possible that the police allowed the car to end up there? In the videos, you can see it being attacked from all sides by the crowd. Could it have been a panic attack?

People do live and work in the area too. There are car parks, garages and side streets everywhere.

There is a video of him at the corner of North John Street and Dale Street in a confrontation with fans. My first question, why continue down to Water Street?

He'd passed Hackins Hey by this point, but there is Exchange Street East. Why not divert down there? Why continue towards a clearly blocked Strand?

In terms of where the car has come from, there are several roads where he could have come from off Dale Street.

There is ample parking in the side streets where a journey may have originated, either commercial, private or council parking.

It's a one way street in the main from Dale street down on to water street...

There are several turn offs leading away from it but still...

He is in the car, and it would appear as if they're attempting to open the door. Several people appear to be verbally abusing him, and some strike the car.

Big difference between terrorising by a teacher and terrorist. The latter being to use violence for a political, religious, ideological cause.
