Hopes for next season.

As of right now, head says top 10, heart says sneaking a European spot.

But literally everything depends on the squad we’re able to assemble over the summer. There’s an almost unimaginable amount of work to do.

challenging for europe

a progressive style of play with a younger, more dynamic squad

a much better home record

one thing to note - there will be 9 english teams in europe next year, there’s a chance a few could struggle with that and we could take advantage.

in general - i hope sky don’t decimate saturday football more than they already have. Forest, Villa and Palace will all be playing regularly on a Sunday, and then there’s their darling six plus Newcastle to add to their Saturday night, Sunday and Monday slots. looks like theyre adding around a 100 extra games next year too. could end up with 2-3 saturday 3pm games a week

Depends on the transfer window, a decent striker who can hit the 15+ mark would make a massive difference, with that anywhere between 6th and 10th, without, 10 to 15th

In no particular order
  • DCL signs a new deal and helps generate healthy forum fume throughout the season
  • A slow start and the traditional GOT manager war no later than November
  • @davek relentlessly targeting a new signing for being a tripe hound. Association with Rangers optional
  • Some decent togger
  • Moyes rolling back the years and unearthing good value gems
  • 4 points at least from Derbies
  • An unbeaten home record for BMD's debut season
  • Winning a cup. Let's make Palace and the Geordies disruption of the usual suspects hogging them the norm, not the outlier.
  • Aggro
