But blame TFG because of rumours…how much did it cost to produce 40k plus scarfs, to put 70 plus former stars in Hotels/travel for the night, for the stages/singers/violinist/fire works
Prob a fair amount but don’t let that get in the way of your narrative…its not like TFG paid off most of our debts, put up the money to finish the stadium is it

Dave went over a bump in the bike lane outside of the ground....and the Bontempi slid off and smashed up. The rest is history, Dave complained about the bike lane and the Council then had to dig it all up and relay it all. Not like Dave to complain.
Another thing on expecting Elton John. Why?

Rumours start and the gullible jump on them mate.Being 'disappointed' that Macca and Elton John didn't appear at the last game is akin to hearing it rumoured that we are going to sign Mbapp and then being disappointed if Delap rocked up instead.

I thought what we did was great. I personally would have left the violinist to the very end. I would have had a big drum band banging for 5 minutes then leading into z cars and then have the violinist take over. Once that was done I would of let all the fireworks off and had all of the legends gather in the centre of the pitch, to watch the fireworks and then I would of had the biggest Everton flag go up a flag pole on the top of the bullens!
