Player Valuation: £40m
I think he'll sign a new contract with a release clause. We need to get into Europe next season if we want to keep him
Similar to us over the last 5 years. But hopefully not to be repeated. If we can keep Jarrod that will be a real statement in terms of not needing to sell our best players. But he’s only got a couple of years left so either signs a new contract or we have to sell. Fingers crossed.…also as we’ve seen, clubs won’t match their wages so most will sit on their lengthy current deals. It’s a mess.
I’d accept a 100m release clause to any club outside the Prem. Wishful thinking I know.I think he'll sign a new contract with a release clause. We need to get into Europe next season if we want to keep him
United were in desperate need of that champions league cash. The financial mess of their squad is like Everton on steroids. They’ve got players on obscene wages who they can’t get rid, a whole host of failed transfers who will cost them a fortune PSR wise. They need to bring in several new players but will probably be highly restricted in doing so. I think it’s very unlikely they’ll be able to pay the £60m plus we’d ask for Branthwaite when there’s so many other issues in their squad. Harry Maguire has become their third choice striker and looks more dangerous than Hojlund and Zirkzee! I worry about Branthwaite leaving, but just don’t see him going there.Unfortunately they're still a massive club and have a much greater pull than Everton, and that's not even mentioning the fact that they'd be able to treble his salary.
People call Everton a sleeping giant, but we're not... we're more like a former champion on life support for three decades. United is a true sleeping giant and they will likely throw immense money at their problems this summer. Hopefully none of that is intended to purchase Branthwaite.
He'd be mad to go to Man United. They are in a right mess. If he leaves, it will be a Champions league team.United were in desperate need of that champions league cash. Spurs or Newcastle would be the threat out of the Prem then (if Newcastle qualify)He'd be mad to go to Man United. They are in a right mess. If he leaves, it will be a Champions league team.
I couldn't disagree more about Manchester United. They are in a complete mess.Unfortunately they're still a massive club and have a much greater pull than Everton, and that's not even mentioning the fact that they'd be able to treble his salary.

I couldn't see Spurs spending circa £80 million on one centre back but I agree Newcastle are the team I worry about as it makes a lot of sense from their perspective subject to PSR.Spurs or Newcastle would be the threat out of the Prem then (if Newcastle qualify)
If anyone bids it'll be Chelsea or Man City. Newcastle will go back in for the lad from Palace and United are in freefall. No one else in the league would be able to afford him.

Wouldnt surprise me if he was a Newcastle fan. A lot of people from Carlisle are.
