2024/25 David Moyes


Well done Moyes. Made me enjoy watching Everton again after the eye bleeding and never ending excuses that came before you. If we had the same form for the full season we would be going into the final game with a chance of qualifying for Europe with a group of players that apparently nobody else could do better with than expect relegation battles with.

Looking forward to next season with a team semi built by Moyes.

Came in, immediately steadied the ship and corrected all of the wrongs that had been allowed to fester within the squad, and most importantly got the points to take us far away from the danger zone. So much so, in fact, that we could relax literally after about 5 weeks - incredible! At the start of January it was looking like we'd drop like a stone and would face an almighty fight just to take it to the final few games for survival.

Moyes turned things around and brought the feel good factor back

he's also given me hope and optimism back and proepr investment in the team

Under lampard and Dyche I was just going the game to experience Goodison before it was gone, a 3 year goodbye from me. Under Moyes I actually really care about what's happening with the squad

Makes the Doucoure love in all the more painful like, but I havent felt this way about Everton sine I was a teenager

By his own admission had taken the squad of players as far as he could. Adding to that he disctanced himself from last season emotion and fan base in general. As Moyes correctly highlted on Sunday you harness the Everton faithful emotions....

The transformation in spirit , performance and results from Dyche to Moyes is truly remarkable.

Is it an indicator of how great a manager Moyes is or how bad Dyche was ? A bit of both I think.

The summer and next season is huge - an opportunity to totally reshape the squad and team and take the next steps to returning the club to greatness.

This is a generational opportunity, please do us proud Davy.
