Oh, I wouldn't restrict myself to half...

Jep, it's like some players are already on holiday, because we basically haven't to play for anything anymore in terms of league position and seem to be missing the last necessary piece that's needed even against a team like Ipswich.

Not the farewell Goodison deserves now 6 games without a win.

Moyes is going to see that second half as the evidence we need much more energy from the player in behind the forward. We ran out of steam yet again and the midfield couldn't regain control of the game. Our front players tired a lot, and the subs who came on made us worse.

He's going to go back to Doucoure. And as frustrating as that may be, on that second half performance, he would be right. It's not good enough for an Everton team at home to run out of steam and by physically over powered in the final quarter of the match.

If Doucoure is the right answer, he's asking the wrong question.

If Moyes is here in the summer, he MUST upgrade him. Any manager come August seeing Doucoure as a first-team player at Everton is unfit for the job.

Had no one else seen us before Moyes came back?

Take a step back and look at where we were, and the sheer woe we experienced.

Today was obviously not good enough but for me it’s not on Moyes’ head in the grand scheme of things.
These players aren’t as bad as our managers would have us believe.
There’s C/H’s we expect gazillions for.
There’s internationals left right and centre.
Young hungry players in every ⅓ of our line up.
There’s experienced players with all manner of domestic and European trophies.

We were playing with the handbrake on, both feet on the brakes and anchor hanging out of the boot.
All we’ve done is lose the anchor and take one foot off.

Upgrading Doucoure is the right move, rather than going for a more technical player like Alcaraz in that position. We can't by physically outworked by relegated sides.

I haven't been impressed by Alacaraz. I'd like to think we can do better.

Yeah, probably the subs sent a wrong sign to the team today. Can't say Doucoure isn't arsed as much as he's a poor footballer.

We will probably at up in the 16th place now. We throw away another 2-0 lead against the mighty Ipswich. Some of these players have no place in the starting lineup. Patterson and Garner etc. Absolutely useless.
