Don’t get the hate for Doucs. It’s the right time to move on and that’s fine.
He was a mixed player quality wise but his effort and fitness was incredible. Not to mention he scored a goal that literally kept us in the league. That alone should immortalise a player, or at least let you think of them positively.

Bar a spell under Lampard i think he was a good pro and always put in a good shift and seemed very popular with the other players . Scored a few big goals too and boiled the rs piss too.

Right decision. He’s scored some important goals - for which we should all be thankful.
Glad we can part on good terms. Indeed I think it’s nice to part on good terms generally in life. So I wish him well. And Michael Keane. And anyone else who may be leaving us this summer, who though not quite of the required standard, are only human and no doubt did their best.
