2. It shouldn't be necessary to explain this, but people posting on GOT about Gary Linekers political beliefs is not the reason he had to leave the BBC.
3. You, a retired gardener, who professes to want to keep politics out of football, posted in a non football section of the website about the politically charged resignation of a footballing presenter. Stop pretending you don't know what you're doing you rascal.

Also, don't tell the truth about Israel if you value you career.

That said, there is a long history of Jews being caricatured as rats. I was aware of it. He did leave himself open to it somewhat.

I only found that out about rats being an anti-Semitic trope when the furore over Lineker's retweet came to light. I'm guessing he's in the same boat as me. Are people supposed to know every single racist, anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, or non-PC, term?

In my opinion, an apology should have been enough but, let's face it, if you criticise Israel in any way, hordes of Jewish people will gang up on you.

If only those people had the same enthusiasm for calling out a Genocide, and the oppression of the Palestinians.

Yes there are loads of decent Jewish folk who will call out the actions of Israel but there are also loads of Jewish people who will gang up on anyone that dares criticise Israel's actions.
