Well......... not watched anything apart from the violinist......in bits. In work and so many guests from around UK and Ireland know what this club means to me. They have been fantastic. So going home now to watch the whole thing and cry myself to sleep. I love this forum and all OF YOU ON IT. It's like we all live in a massive Cul de Sac from all over the globe xxxxxx
They don't have to be tears of sadness. It's a milestone day, and we all knew it had to come, and so, it has. Goodison is staying for the ladies side, so she's still there for us. Change can be difficult, but if 39k can roar and provoke like Goodison, then 14k more at BMD will be different again.

133 years. All good things have to end, and Goodison is so good that she isn't (ending).

FFS Let me watch it all first xxx 🤣 🤣 🤣

History will show we finished above United and Spurs in our last season at Goodison . Just hope nobody digs a little deeper .
Thank god we got Davy when we did .
Let's not forget we're currently two places and five point above West 'Ammm who, this time last year, dispensed with the services of Moyse despite the fact that he'd "pulled up trees for them, brought them silverware and solid finishing positions in the league that could've promised more with the right support had he stayed . Their loss has seen the seeds of our future cultivated, nurtured and delivered with this seasons top flight security.

Whilst I lament the passing of the grand old lady to her own new and promising future I feel our new future on the banks of the royal blue Mersey is secure, in the present tense, in the safe hands of a man who knows our club intuitively and who has the backing of forward thinking owners who, on the face of things, seem prepared to invest in our future success on the pitch.

Next season will become the acid test but for now it's onwards and upwards as we march on down the Goodison Road for the last time into our brand new future.

NSNO.

My favourite part of game was our fans singing tributes to ex players and managers. Arteta, Yakubu, Oviedo, Deulofeu, Kevin Campbell, Rideout, Osman, Baines, Jagielka, Horne, Martinez, Jags,Ferguson, Cahill, Rooney and Felaini. Shows how our fans have been loyal through thick and thin and Limpar was right when he talked about how knowledgeable fans at Everton are. Compare that to gimps across park, some of their "fans" were shown and picture of Shankly and asked who he was? Day trippers said Fowler.

Without our fans, we would of collapsed, one thing I'll always remember about my 1st game, I think it was 1999 vs Chelsea. Campbell scored, Flo got equaliser, but it was kindness of fans people passing round toffees and mints and fans having laugh that I'll remember. My 2nd Everton match was against Arsenal, when Rooney scored as well as that being memorable. I remember at half time an arl fella with a walking stick saying struggling to get down row, at which point everyone stopped on row and people on stairs and parted like red sea, so this fella could get through. Helped up stairs on row who had only just met him. When he got back to seat a random woman gave him a pie and cuppa, arl fella was nearly in tears. That story a few years ago where 2 Blues on way to derby helped someone who had a heart attack and the missed game. Plenty of times, I have been given tickets or sold tickets face value, you wouldn't get that with RS.

Going from despair to delight when Tarkowski scored and random fans hugging each other, same when we won last year. There's a reason why past players, even those who weren't with Everton that long remember their time so fondly. There is a reason why most fans other of Merseyside, other than Geordie beauts, when you tell them your an Everton fan greet your with warmth. The fact that Gueye used to watch Everton games while travelling to PSG games, shows his love for Everton, Godfrey and Richarlison doing lap of honours after recent games at GP. Also respect to Southampton fans who stayed an joined farewell to GP. not gonna lie, I teared up when Z Cars was played on violin.

Right someone help me out here, was the singer during Spirit of the Blues the guy from DMA's? I love them, but still can't work out even from the social media video if it was him. I didn't have a chance of even hearing it never mind seeing it properly from the UG

OMG, I’ve never witnessed a fanbase like it . I’m in town and it’s still jumping with blue, but wtf has happened to the 1878’s flags totally blagged by Someone who hasn’t got a clue.??????? They said well so our thing which was give everyone a scarf. Pathetic..,
The 1878 announced before the Ipswich game that their last display would be for that match. I'd imagine it wasnt done for today so fan's views wouldn't be obstructed or blocked by flags or banners
