Yes, Moyes saved his life when they served together in Nam.

they like to cook?
….not forgetting the RS were knocked out by Plymouth who have just been relegated from the Championship. These cups are there to be won, sometimes you’re name is on it.
I think we did the double over Palace this season and they won the cup.
It was a defining moment for both.We had our best chance under Martinez. Lukaku penalty against a poor United in the semi final and then Palace awaiting in the final. I think that was arguably a bigger opportunity than beating that Chelsea team in 09 or beating Klopp’s Liverpool in the league cup if we’d made it past City. Moyes gets a lot of heat for the 09 final but for me Martinez and Lukaku really did drop the ball on that one.
Alcaraz dropped yet again.
Cool moment seeing Moyes chatting up Rooney on the side.
“Aye, but can you coach Set Pieces Wayne?”Cool moment seeing Moyes chatting up Rooney on the side.
He hadn't lost the dressing room. We'd only been beaten 3 times in about his last 12 games IIRC.
Totally agree, it's unlikely we'll win a cup, just like it was unlikely that Palace would. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't just jib it off and assume we can't win one.Palace’s cup run was:
Stockport
Doncaster
Millwall
Fulham
Aston Villa
Man City
It’s all well and good saying that we need to put all our focus onto winning a cup, but you’re at the mercy of the draw. Palace pull Liverpool away instead of Stockport at home out of the pot and they’re out in the 3rd round.
You need lots of luck to win a cup if you’re, well, basically not Liverpool. I think they’re the only team that are capable of beating everyone else home or away on any given day.
Doucoure literally did a podcast last week where he mentioned a change was needed because things weren’t working and some players lost faith in the manager. He hadn't lost the dressing room. We'd only been beaten 3 times in about his last 12 games IIRC.
