unless a ridiculous offer comes in, he should definitely be one of our striker options next year.

Works so hard and loves to run beyond the defence. Actually offers a different option to any striker we have had for years.

What a difference with dcl...beto is getting better and better. His hold up play was very good today...shame about those offsides but for me he is right now the number 9 for next season.

Despite the offsides he did well today. Surprised he stayed on though cause he looked absolutely exhausted towards the end. Could barely hold or run for the ball.

He was but he still managed to set up DCL with a great chance.

I take beto over dcl anytime...if beto goes and dcl stays, then i am expecting the club to go and spend big on a new centre forward. You just can't rely on dcl anymore. Even today he looked very average...

I don’t think you can underestimate how important it is to be mentally as well as physically strong. He is so brave with his runs and keeps putting himself in the right areas even after missing a few. That’s the big difference with DCL for me who when he misses tends to drift out of the game.

As you can probably tell, love the bloke and think he will get better next season with more games.

I love his drive and commitment. Not the greatest technically, but I bet defenders hate playing against him. Whilst we are messing about in these mid table positions he’s not an issue. Better balance in the team and get some more goals from midfield and the right hand side of the forward line.
