Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Virginia didn`t have that until we played him... the number 2 and 3 will not play and I`d be happy to see those keepers given a chance, already on the books so costs us no more. We really got to get away from the Prem experience mantle, it does us no favours, EVERY player Brighton buys do not have Prem experience and they`ve gone along just fine.

Same with Brentford to a large degree...
He played once, it’s not much experience. If we had a pot to piss in the last 2 summers, he wouldn’t have been the number 2

So if Pickford was injured in pre-season and our first match was, let's say Arsenal away, you'd be confident?

If it was pre season the window would be open to buy a replacement... Obviously does leave us a little exposed but you just aren`t getting any quality knowing they are back up.... who would you go for?

These GKs will be out of contract...

Look through the entirety of the premier league squads and find me two clubs who have u21 keepers as a backup.

Needs a decent pro. Old head for number three. Let the young lads go out on loan if they’re talented enough.

Fair point. I was hoping there would be someone promising enough who potentially could save us a few quid, learn from being around the first team, play early league cup games etc.
