When we signed Ashley Young, I was dead against it, over the past couple of years I've come to realise what a great pro he is. I'm not sorry to see him go, I think its time, but, I thank him for his contribution. He has been very solid in difficult times.

Not as upset that he has left because i think he was quite limited mostly due to his age, but he has done a good job for us at a difficult time, so I would thank him for being a good professional and did well overall.

Made a super contribution when we were at our lowest, particular mention to last or so games last season all the experience, nous and leader ship was huge in getting us over the line, that Newcastle and Forest game - small margins - but you know they make all the difference.
