Top picture looks like Victoria Street. I remember the toilets being there.

Looks to me like you are correct. The first office I worked in, in 1983, overlooked them - over The She club.

Look at how people dressed back then to go to the beach. Very respectable but certainly not built for a nice tan.

…yep, SFX junior school was in Salisbury St and SFX Bi-Lat on Shaw St.

I’ve mentioned before, Charlie Chaplin attended SFX Salisbury St when he was a child performer at Henglers Circus (later Hippodrome on West Derby Rd), my dad also went there.
