He was quoted as saying something like "we need top players for a top stadium"

Clearly some were supposedly extending are top players in his eyes.

This is probably why we may end up having to renew some contracts, unfortunately some people think we can go and buy a new 11 starters and let everyone else go. It will all be about what Moyes wants to prioritise.
I can take renewing a couple of contracts if it means we can spend bigger on a forward.

The same word has been used by both Kinnear and Moyes now…’unprecedented’ when referring to our transfer business this summer.
