Why change it? I am sure Man City fans still sing about Main Road. West Ham probably still sing about the Boleyn Ground. It's our history, it's our heritage, it's our home. The song should remain as it is.

I'm trying but failing to ascertain what time road closures are being put in place. Setting off at 0600 in order to arrive at 0800 to try and get parked before any restrictions come in. Normally Queens Drive/ Walton Village area. Does anyone know?

On a normal match day , the streets Immediately around the ground are closed 2 hrs prior to kick off .

I would imagine they would be closed off 3 hrs prior to kick off on Sunday as the team coach ETA is 10am .

4am Kick off for me this one. I have no idea whether to go to bed, or just push through and stay up through the night. Do I toast the old lady with a very early morning pint? It's going to be such an emotional day for us all. The reality is definitely setting in.

Definitely go to bed early, there will be enough grumpyaul men in the ground moaning about having to get up at the crack of sparrows without you adding to thre numbers

They could re-create the HT displays from the 70s where a police dog and his handler would re-enact the catching of a miscreant on the Goodison Park pitch.

Just update it to reflect the Just Stop Oil protestor as the miscreant and an Alsatian dog armed with bolt cutters.
