I feel so privileged that I was able to make the pilgrimage to Goodison for the first time ever in my life, will forever savor the experiences and incredible people (fellow evertonians) I encountered during my travels. The Hallowed stands of Goodison created such a visceral sensation of belonging to a club that has always valued community and the positive attributes of sport. So i can't even imagine what this day means to the fans who were a regular presence at Goodison or just had further continued opportunities through their life to attend matches, as it was a sacred place

4am Kick off for me this one. I have no idea whether to go to bed, or just push through and stay up through the night. Do I toast the old lady with a very early morning pint? It's going to be such an emotional day for us all. The reality is definitely setting in.

I'm trying but failing to ascertain what time road closures are being put in place. Setting off at 0600 in order to arrive at 0800 to try and get parked before any restrictions come in. Normally Queens Drive/ Walton Village area. Does anyone know?

I don't know where you are coming from but you could park for free at Aintree station and get a train to Walton or Kirkdale. .
