£1.79 in the Wirral yesterday. They sell pints of Jaipur for £2.49 in central Liverpool.
That's a point. My sister told me females like W'spoons because they are unlikely to get hassled by drunks. And old women on a budget who can sit in a pub on their own without being stared at.
I was once told by a bar manager that pubs play music because it makes people thirstier from talking louder and so they drink faster.Don’t mind them at all.
They’re a great cheap option for people who can’t afford going to the pub or a nice bar.
The lack of music means I can only be there for a pint or two though.
I was astounded, I got 2 lurpacks.Nice, I usually have the Freedom brekkie which is 2.99 plus toast
This and this, 100%.Can’t stand the owner but it’s a solid business plan and often in some handy locations .
Almost ashamed to admit it but the frost and it’s service puts most of the pubs by the ground to shame.
I’m not saying I’m cheap, but I like to hang my teabags on a washing line to make them go further…It depends on what you want. I'm not exactly flush, cheap is my middle name. I go to Wetherspoons, some are dives, usually of course in the poorest neighbourhoods, some are very nice. You get what you pay for, my point was, the quality can vary, and if you can find better, would you be willing to pay for it. Swings and roundabouts
Did well for an inanimate object!Like the concept, but the owner is a bell.
I never do number 2’s in pub toilets. You have a pint between?Quick half between jobs, haven't even got to go upstairs to the bogs

I had my tea there when I went to Raith Rovers , I think they begrudged me getting in for the cheap food - the 2-5 afternoon deals and I got fried eggs with my all day brunch that had been sitting there since breakfastThe loos in the Kirkcaldy Spoons are up a long stair and along an L-shaped corridor. You virtually have to book ahead.
It was formerly a TSB.
