Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

There has been suggestions that he had been on Thelwells radar previously.
Yes, while at Southampton or before if I remember, but not a single link to him signing or Everton “mulling/exploring/interested/contacting/approaching” in January until his parent club broke the story.
Hacks + greedy agents eyeing up a bigger percentage = clickbait.

I think what we have here is an information vacuum which is being filled by people's fears and concerns.

It quite natural and understandable after the dress we've put up over the years, but I like to think that things have now changed for the better. The Friedkins told us the kind of team they wanted when they took over, why would that suddenly change.

I get the angst, but let's just see what happens

You are of course 100% right but on the other hand, welcome to the transfer thread - now panic!

The fee and wages are the issue for me.

There's a stylistic issue there too but the financials are more important (for me personally)

Why should that be an issue ??
He is in his prime and would be our best midfielder.

He would replace Doucs wage, and improve us.

stylistic issue = ??? He is THE perfect David Moyes player, in every single way. He fits us perfectly.

I find it odd how people really take offence to transfers rumours.

Nah. Fuming at imaginary dreadful transfers is much more entertaining.
