What will the capacity be ? Will this be financially sustainable considering maintenance , attendance?

For the first time in a while, that matters much less.

I think it's great that Goodison lives on and football will be played there.

I don’t know what to make of this. Presumably the stadium will be subject to some radical changes over the next few years - since WSL games will never fill it and lots of it is really old and shabby.

I doubt it. The last thing they'll want really is for people to continue their old matchday habits, they want to drive business towards the new stadium so making it easy for people to keep eating and drinking where they do now isn't going to help with that.

Maybe, can't see how they do it, old 3 sides are tough to reduce I'd imagine. Park end is most viable stand but also the one few would miss. Be interesting to see the development.

Not going to quite be the same as 40k there every other week, no disrespect but the women's crowds are not going to keep local business afloat as they know it now.

Yeah i agree. Community hub and other planed facilities would have been ideal for the local area. If they incorporate those services into a redeveloped GP then great, but I won’t hold my breath.

Its a good strategy. People who don't watch womans football will go to watch one purely to hang around their old haunts and keep their old traditions alive.
