Sky sports news tomorrow 1100..documentary on leaving goodison for bmd featuring our former owner
His biggest mistake was buying Everton.Biggest mistake was his first. Keeping Kenwright around.
Trying to hate him, but he got us the stadium. Yes, nearly bankrupted us. But, we were only going backwards before him.
Heart was in right place, execution was all wrong.
Listened to a little bit there and still refers to us as "we".
The moment any last vestige of denial fell away: Moshiri was indeed a loose cannon.Good ebening Jeeeeeeeeeem....

I knew his hiring of Koeman and adhesion to Kenwright meant we had a duffer, but I told myself he would be an improvement...
Then: "Good ebenig, Jim"
Game over. His voodoo economics was the near death of us.
Yes, I was going to mention that...but even now my buttocks clench and toes curl, so I thought better of it...We didn’t want Sissoko because James McCarthy is family.
BMD is a weirdly sane outcome for a batty period in our history.
Alls well that ends well ?
He got desperate when the Russian invasion happened - I'm assuming it wouldn't have gone quite so weird otherwise.
He did have the best of intentions and has to take credit for the stadium, it was miraculous getting it completed under the circumstances and he provided the initial financing and energy to get it started, and ensured it got finished.
I don't think he'll ever be invited to give a guest lecture on corporate governance though. He must have been forced into keeping Kenwright, but why collectively they didn't allow competent professionals to run the club, I'll never understand.
Stadium or not, we were the worst run club in the country, and comparatively for our size, probably one of the worst in the world.
I'd like to see him attend a game though, he deserves that. A crazy guy, but one of the most consequential people in our history now.
