The price makes the deal very likely to happen. I think he's done okay since signing, but hope there's more to come next season. At the very least he'll be an option in a squad that looks very thin on the ground right now.

STILL can’t get my head around the decision not to keep him on. I’d have been much more confident about the summer with money to spend if he was still here than the uncertainty we currently now have. Alcaraz, O’Brien, Ndiaye recruited for buttons essentially, Beto was brought on Klarna, sold Cannon and Simms for good money, eased the mess that was the PSR situation and hugely reduced our wages bill. The bloke done a fantastic job.
