Never really questioned his physical ability as a defender. He has all the attributes for that. Its often been the mental side where he just always seems to wilt under pressure when the going gets tough.

Problem that worries me is Moyes wasn’t here during all those years with Keane on the pitch. Lately he’s seen goal scoring and some poor defending he can chalk up to being rusty.
