It’s factual though. I don’t view it as brave for that reason. And the tag line clearly distinguishes that it’s about Moshiris reign, so a specific time in our history.

It’s also likely that 99% of people that buy it will be Everton fans so all are already aware of what’s gone on and the negativity has passed with Moshiri leaving (for most of us).
Just one of a raft of Everton books out there that thrive on negativity round thd club:

There's one called 'Liverpool FC Ruined My Life'....with Liverpool FC in very small type and Ruined My Life in massive text with pictures of Everton players on it. There's another 'Money Cant Buy Us Love'...incredibly about the Catterick.

I say these titles are out of whack for where we now find ourselves.

I get that you should write about the club warts an' all, and it's no doubt well written; but I'm not sure I'd have chosen that title.

I'm sure his publisher encouraged him to come up with an eye-catching title, but that's another dollop of negativity we dont need.
The bit in the title that I find offensive is the use of the word "Moshiri" instead of "Kenwright".

In the end, Kenwright's malign influence was far more corrosive in Everton's history. It was his managed decline and his decision to bring in Moshiri that ruined us. Moshiri simply accelerated the slow motion car crash.

I agree with that.

He was a potential carpet bagger Moshiri, but without his dynamism BMD would still be the repository for a number of UXBs.

IMO, he'd get a decent reception if he turned up for a game to the new stadium. In fact, he should be invited to the opening game.

A board room of wife beaters and climate change deniers.

Ain't looking good.
Friedkin moves around the world by piloting his private jets. Yesterday he landed at San Marino from Switzerland with his jet. Do you prefer he were lecturing, shaming you about your small car and pushing for you to eat the bugs while he is flying by private jets to move like the other celebrities and "important" people do?

Being pedantic he landed in Rimini after flying in from Zurich via a stop in Rome.

They both deserve equal billing. There should be no “instead of”, I wish people would stop acting like they were opposing forces.

Oh, both were disastrous. But we must learn from history so as not to repeat it. And, in that sense, in the stakes for "who ran Everton down into also-rans", nobody competes with Bill Kenwright: truly, the outstanding destroyer of this football club. And he didn't even need Moshiri to do that. That was merely his final trick.

In fact, I'd settle for people to realise Kenwright was the culprit he was. But by making Moshiri the sole fall guy, we leave ourselves open to another Kenwright in the future.

An utter disaster for the club.

An utter 'kin buffoon.

People wouldn't listen though.

"The Mosh has got this".

Houlding
Kenwright
Moshiri

The Everton list of infamy.

A disaster for Everton FC.

An utter disaster.

We've gone from top 5 finishes every few seasons and cup runs to being a basket case hanging onto midtable like a life-raft.

J'accuse you, you carpetbagging belter.

Well, some of us called this feller out earlier than others.

Because he's a carpetbagger acting as a proxy for a gangster.

I think I've been more than proved correct on that haven't I?

Carpetbagger.

Some of us just sussed this feller out earlier than others.

A BAG CARRYING POINT MAN FOR A GANGSTER

Clear conscience here.

It was obvious what he was from the off. I said it often enough: a bag man.

Another one I got wrong....

He's a 'kin disaster.

The useless Latka get.

This is all down to the carpetbagger...and Kenwright for getting him anywhere near the club...and, tbf, the fans who cared more about the *new stadium* getting built than protesting at the ownership over onfield failure for 6 solid seasons.

Some of us called it, some of us got drunk on the idiot fees paid for tripe players and STFU about it all.

Clear conscience here.

We need this idiot out of the club.

The posts in this thread from about March 2016 through to September 2016 are absolute gold.

The amount of people conned by this feller is stupendous.

I mean, they went for it hook line and sinker. Expected an Abramovic / Makhtoum transformation.

6 years later the club have only avoided relegation by a whisker after the fans saved it and we're being cherry picked by clubs like Villa and Spurs.

How do people sleep?

The worst thing to happen to Everton since John Houlding.

That poll was at about 80% for Moshiri 2 years ago. Even after there'd been 5 years of meddling and disruption and general mayhem.

"The Mosh has got this"

That saying should go on our PL Headstone.

Lol. Shows how much you read my posts. I've been telling others to attack Moshiri because he's the decision maker and root cause.

Rimini is technically the San Marino Airport. He landed there because in the italian airports there is alert about private flights due to eventual strikes by ukrainians on the today Russian victory parade in Moscow and then about the eventual retaliations of Russia on Kiev and European cities
