I'd prefer someone competent with little or no money

Careful what you wish for is the most pointless and irrelevant statement. Its meaningless waffle.

It also perfectly encapsulates the Moshiri era. We wished to throw money that we didn’t really have around like confetti and buzzed off it for years and look where we’ve ended up. Be careful what you wish for indeed.

He seems the crux of many of the problems. Maybe Kenwright’s continued involvement doesn’t help.

Not sure what the answer is but Moshiti’s approach to the management of holistic on the pitch strategy isn’t working.

Literally pouring money, resources and time down the drain.

Nothing will be simply fixed by changing manager in isolation.
Said this a while ago (post above is from 2019)

The reality could be even worse than he wasn't very good at putting together a football strategy. There's potential that he could have relegated and bankrupted the club.

People were blinded by spending lots of money or getting in a start name manager. Lots of warning signs have been there from the start.

You just know that Bill had a buy back option for £1 inserted into the original sale to Moshiri should Moshiri sell before we won the Prem.

Looks like Moshiri had a 6 year plan when he came in, and now it is coming to fruition, get us relegated and see if we could win the championship to put some silverware in the cabinet. When this season is over Moshiri and Kenwright need to be told in no uncertain terms that they are not wanted at our club, relegated or not.

Moshiri has no money anymore.
Scary but true.

Delve deeper and the stadium would have absolutely been financed via companies that usmanov owned such as steel etc. Now they have gone the price will have rocketed.

Going to be a massive financial hit for the owner this. It will also then impact the playing side even if we do stay up. If we can sell a player for 60 million and replace him for 10, well then that's a nice chunk of stadium money
