The throngs episode was a bit weird
Thought it was brilliant mate, one of my favorites of the year.

Have you seen Havoc mate?It is terrible, Gangs of London but done with a better cast and worse writing (if that is possible).
Possibly the worst thing he's done, including that absolute excrement of a Star Trek film.
Have you seen Havoc mate?
Jamie really reminds me of Viking. The City is ours. S1E5
Loving this. A bit like Kin but great changes of pace when needed.
I've just watched on iPlayerThe Gone, an Irish/New Zealand production, Detective story of a missing girlI`m a really big fan of the Aussie gritty outback crime drama`s, as they`re completely unique to Australia and quite often, they take not so subtle swipes at the seemingly endemic racism towards Aboriginal people in these communities, which is letting the word know that the mistreatment of these people is sadly still alive and well today.
Have a look at Mystery Road too, I think you`ll like it. ( On Iplayer )
Series one, especially of the tv drama is brilliant, gripping, seedy and dark A/F.
There`s a film too, but it`s not as good as the tv series ( imo )
I can’t even remember what episode I’m on but the one with the wedding was just brilliant. Looking forward to the restJust watched eps 7-9 of season 2 of Andor, utterly magnificent.
Yes I made a point earlier in this thread about women's parts in these gangster shows are hard to write because the women usually either molls or the nag trying to get them to give it up. I mentioned that the red head was a bit too clever to be involved with a thug and they had written it in about her Mom to "balance out" the good and evil in the relationshipThe City is ours
Had potential but the storyline about the redhead gf with mum in prison seemed tacked on and how a drug gang happened to rule the streets while kotowing to all their wives was predictably pathetic for the BBC, apparently women are the real brains behind the operations.
Even the poor old Santander senor couldn't escape the rise of feminism.
I was a little disappointed with the first few episodes to the point I was debating staying with it (having been a lover of the first season) but since then it has really picked up, and those last few episodes you mention are just wow. Incredible. Star Wars at its finest.Just watched eps 7-9 of season 2 of Andor, utterly magnificent.
I'm through episode 5.Just watched eps 7-9 of season 2 of Andor, utterly magnificent.
