I thought we were almost qualified in the last game of that season until Dennis Bergkamp scored a last minute equaliser for Arsenal who then qualified instead.
Joe Parkinson had scored our goal with less than 10 minutes to go and we were all going mad at Goodison until the “Everton that” moment.

Went on the Goodison tour on Monday, April 28th and in the pre tour meeting room with the cup winners cup and canon league trophies... whilst the woman was giving a talk about 1985 and all that... all the big screens in the room had sky sports news on with Liverpool celebrating their title win on the pitch , ffs

20/21 season beating RS, spurs, Arsenal away, being in the top 3-5 all season only to finish 10th in the last game our lowest position all season. Having James Rodriguez but not being able to see him live.

That season was a pretty Everton That season.

Notable mention also to Niasse getting banned for "diving", then the Prem scrapping it after that
