Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think we will sign delap . Moyes mentioning it in his press conference that we are interested, Andy hunter in the paper Monday making a big deal of it and even the stuff with him signing the wall of the house. Something maybe verbally agreed .
Is there a link for Hunter’s article at all mate? Haven’t seen what he said about Delap

I am a fan Delap but £30m is very steep so another cheaper alternative would be Troy Parrott

He has been in great form for AZ Alkmaar and previously Excelsior plus playing international and European comps this season.

Sadly could never break through at Spurs so spent most of his time out on loans to Preston, Millwall but suffered untimely knocks which kept him out.

Only 23 and could be available for £15m-20m

You can say that again

deffo mad that he signed the wall

why doing you? šŸ¤”
Moyes tends to play a straight bat when players of other clubs are mentioned. Always has…

So for him to actively come out and claim we’re interested to me is very out of character.

If Delap/his agent were against the move surely that info would have been relayed by now. So for Moyes to make such statements would make him/club look foolish.

We clearly have a chance and him signing the wall is an indication he’d be open to join.

TFG in their first season brought Lukaku as a statement signing. Perhaps Delap is our version

Or a method of distraction from the real target
