Goodbye to Goodison

The club specifically asked for the game to be that weekend with a view to it being on TV. They didn't want it overshadowing by the normal final day stuff because they wanted it to be the focus of the whole football media. They'll be raging if they play second fiddle to a single player.
The club don't get to decide if they'll be on TV.
There's 4 more attractive games on than ours that day.
At least with West Ham v Utd both were playing for something i.e. European spots.

Yes. I said with a view to it being on tv not that we’d decided it would be on tv. We don’t even know what games are on that weekend yet either because we don’t know who’s in the cup final. But apart from all that another good post mate, keep it up.

Very "Everton that" it is currently 4/18.

I'm pretty sure it was said in 22/23 that was the worst home form in modern times and that was six wins over the season so can't even get to that now.

Leaving Goodison with the worst home form for decades.

Our 2 relegation seasons yielded 7 wins in the 50s and 6 in the 30s.

That’s how bad this final season has been.

It's sad to see one of the most famous grounds in the country bow out like this. I know there's a rationale amongst some supporters who say they can't wait to move on because the place is synonymous with failure but wait until they see what we're like at the new place. If we repeat the success we've had at Goodison at BMD we'll have done well.

42 game seasons in those days I think.

My one worry with Moyes is how the home form has tailed off badly. Can't be starting life off at BMD throwing away 2-0 leads to other bottom end teams as happened v Man. United and Ipswich in last two months otherwise things will get negative again quickly.
