2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

Once again we're all expecting him to start because at some point he'll need a run of games for the manager to judge him in order to determine a permanent transfer. Clearly, with safety assured and games running out, if he doesn't start at home against an already relegated team over a finished Doucoure set to leave in 2 months, he's not here next season.

Not convinced myself, doesn't scroe enough goals, provide enough clear scoring assists but more importantly the game just gets away from him.....
Playing nearly all 12 games as a sub in a woeful team surrounded by players we all want shot of. Not sure how he could have done an awful lot more. How many more games have Harrison, Lindstrom, Doucs & co played achieving sod all in terms of goals and assists. Not sure he’s the answer but hasn’t been given a run of games to demonstrate what he can do.

Agree 100%, needs to start at the weekend and take the opportunity with both hands.

He put Beto one on one twice v Brentford , set Mcneil up at Chelsea , he's a good footballer who runs well with the ball , has an eye for a pass and looks to have a decent freekick, well worth 12m
He also set up Beto to score at Palace and got the winner. In the game he started in support of Beto we looked a much better team going forward. i like the way when he gets the ball his initial thought is to get us moving forward quickly rather than looking to go sideways or back to Pickford. Doucoure in that position sucks the life out of every attacking chance we get.

Moyes' presser seems to suggest we'll keep him, seemed positive
I think the 'Moyes not playing him because he doesn't fancy him' thing is a load of codswallop.

Think it was purely down to what's best for the club, and he didn't want to put himself into a position were we have to either a) be committed to buying him or b) be committed to paying the fee.
