2024/25 David Moyes

How will people feel if Vitor does a Nuno and gets Wolves into the Champions league next year? He’s done a tremendous job so far. It would be a sore one given how many times we nearly appointed him.

(Not saying it’s likely btw, he’ll probably fall out with his players next season, he’s a bit erratic for me)
They have taken a risk and fair play to them we will see if it pays off. We played safe and its worked for us, I'm more concerned about summer recruitment than anything else tbh, seriously worried we will end up with a bunch of aging PL rejects.

Stand By for Operation Dither.

Moyes, who celebrated his 62nd birthday on Friday, said: “Things don’t happen quickly here [in the English transfer market] but we will have to give decisions very quickly on players. A lot is dependent on, can we get Joe Bloggs to come and sign? That’s what we are waiting on and that’s the point we are at.

Is that what he said?

FFS.

I cant be arsed watching his interviews. He's a dullard and I know that there'll never be anything of interest or ambitious in his words.

What a character we've been landed with again.

All we needed to do was to hold our nerve in January, keep Dyche and get well cleared 3 teams below us who've barely picked up a point since....then we could have had a choice of the best managers out there this summer....but now we're...

....Stuck With Moyes.🎼

It was Dyche that couldn't hold his nerve😂

I don't know how many times you need telling this.

It's like if you say it enough times you think we'll all forget what actually happened and just go with your series of events...Jesus Dave.

It wouldn't bother me, at the end of the day, you're looking through hindsight glasses, nobody knows if he would've worked out here. Moyes is a better manager if you ask me and he deserves a lot of credit for saving this season from being an outright disaster, which is where we were heading under Dyche.

Dyche had taken points at City Arsenal and at home to Chelsea. Dire football but still sure we'd have stayed up anyway give how poor the bottom three are. Would a top young manager have been available this window? But the Moyse history here has always been safety first so I'm expecting more of the same next season.

Wouldn’t even bother me personally anymore. I’ve come to terms with Everton being such an oddity that any player or managers track record means nothing once they come here.
Likewise the least expected individuals can click at Everton and have an outstanding career.

we are the footballing equivalent of the Twilight Zone

Asked for his reaction to the graffiti sprayed on a Goodison Park wall he said: "This is the first time in my career I have seen this kind of thing, I've never had these comments about me.

Having Dyche at the Helm would have emboldened the teams below us...we were team void of any attacking threat, coupled with a terribly toxic manager, who the fans hated.

Moyes probably had us safe within a month.

Under Dyche I genuinely couldn't have told you were our next win was coming from.

Vitor would have been a risky hire. Especially given the players we have. Not sure that success would have replicated. Wolves have rolled the dice and got a six so far. But it’s a game of snakes and ladders and there is a lot that can change. Not sure that they will be get to champions league though.
Wolves had a good team, that needed to gel. I don’t see that with wolves.

Dyche would have had us safe. Moyes has improved us.
Can’t believe anyone is looking beyond Moyes at the minute.
Really has become the dead internet here. Not sure who is genuine or not now

Big day for Moyes today. Throughout his managerial career he has more often than not stumbled upon his best team when forced into it through injury, I hope he sees sense and leaves Keane on the bench today
I agree the less choice Moyes has the less he can dither overthinking it

The 'unsure' is for Keane on the bench
