2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

Hopefully off in June
He is a constant and assured liability
The game changed when he came on and gave Man City the confidence needed to win
Moyes mistake of bringing him on
Moyes does n`t seem to like altering the shape of the team. He brought off a center half so his answer is to bring on a center half, no matter how poor that sub might be. We had 3 options for RB on the bench yesterday, and had Jake O`Brien who has played in the center all last season for Lyon. He has said he wants to have a look at players on the run in as we are not in danger of going down and have little chance of moving up the table, so it was a great chance to see if O`Brien can slot in to the center and be a solid partner for Branners. But no he thought Michael Keane would be good enough.

He shouldn't be allowed to grace the famous Goodison turf in its final two games, it would massively taint its incredible history and take the gloss of the successes that have been enjoyed in the grand old lady.

Ultimately we're short of defensive cover. Young or Coleman need to come in but Keane is still a better option than Patterson.

Nope. "Mick Keggers" is getting it because some people wont accept we have a VERY limited manager.
Not sure You were this vocal in your backing of Keggers and slamming the manager, when the dychosaur was picking his favourite son constantly…..

Now if you want to talk about very limited managers your kopite, gravel throated mate is the dictionary definition of one.

I completely understand the frustration with Moyes sending him on. We could all predict what would come.

Setting that aside, it's just chucklesome that collectively we can't trust our one time marquee defensive signing (commanding our record fee for a defender at the time, I believe) who is now a senior experienced pro. A player with 8 year's service to the club who just can't be trusted. Who is still miraculously here despite being bypassed by three defenders signed for less than him put together.

I don't dislike Keane as a person, he seems like a nice man. But he truly does symbolise the madness, largesse and malaise of EFC this last 10-12 years.

Doesn’t Moyes ask his coaches for their input on players, if he didn’t know how poor Keane is/ was/ and will be, Leighton Baines could have put him wise he had the misfortune to play with Keane many times.

Hope we never see him in an Everton shirt again.
He just panics the players and and it spreads. To the crowd
The moment he came on we lost are shape and looked a different team.
He just completely empties his area/space constantly, making his teammates have to scramble to cover him - JB, JOB and Myko were all at it once he came on and looked fecked.

He is weak into every challenge, gets turned way too easily, muscled off the ball far too much and never looks confident when on the ball.

Marmoush looked like Zirkzee against Tarks and became salah/haaland when corporal chaos came on.

Really hope Moyes has seen enough and never picks him again, but I’ve said that about every manager we’ve had whilst Keane has been here, and they always continue to pick him at some point. It’s just depressing.

Not sure losing by two goals to this team, after their recent haul, with a squad that was on its a@@ for years is a result to cause massive consternation.

Neither is the result after Keane came on, everyone knows he needs to go (including you)...same as it ever was.
City aren't great.
