Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Someone like Malen for Villa is I hope is the profile of player the club start looking at from this summer. He can't get a start but he's rapid and a good finisher from the right. They got him for just over 20m from Dortmund and still only mid 20s so there must be similar player on the fringes of top Bundesliga or La Liga club.

Chukuweze at Milan looked good at Villareal and still young, not sure if he's playing regularly now or not.

Their wage bill is insane for a reason

He had an excellent game yesterday, Mowbray at last picked the team we wanted, could have been 4 assists if our striker had put away his chances
I’ve watched as much as I can of him this year since we’ve been linked and he’s a strange player. Doesn’t seem to have blistering pace, no real fancy tricks, but has an uncanny knack of getting half a yard on defenders and whipping in some pin point crosses. If DCL were to stay he’d be the ideal signing. If you’re recruiting Fellows then you need to recruit the right type of striker, a DCL or a reincarnation of Duncan Ferguson. The old fashioned number 9 who’s great in the air. They’d score a hatful. It’s no good signing Fellows and then going with Beto up front or a striker who’s game is all about playing on the shoulder of defenders and relying on through balls from central areas to run on to.

Yes definitely, that's why he did well beginning of season as we had Josh Maja as our big CF but he got injured and since then Fellows as struggled as no one on the end of his crosses

Beckham was like that, wouldn't beat anyone for pace and trickery, but he would get a yard from somewhere and ping in a cross exactly where he wanted
