I think the same about Aston Villa. They do my head in. And also Leeds United. Arrogant fans.Im not gona turn it into the worst. But Newcastle. I cant stand them. Delusions of grandeur. Self-attributed best fans tag.
Koff. Go on like they're Barcelona. never liked them. Never will.
I have fonder memories TBF. They were great in the Winslow before the game, and I remember them being noisy throughout the game without any grief.I remember Standard Liege trying to start fights by the coaches, so not them![]()
Ooo erPlayed head to head games in 2015 - scored four times in Liverpool.
Then played away and scored 3 more times
We were getting a bit of aggro heading back to the car, they were just giving it verbals, nothing happened but no need for itI have fonder memories TBF. They were great in the Winslow before the game, and I remember them being noisy throughout the game without any grief.![]()

Agree, you get it with certain fans who are just singing for sake of it, not actually supporting their team. West Ham were singing "we are West Hams Claret and Blue army for like half and hour. GP is a bearpit when it needs to be, although sometimes pre season games and certain other times atmosphere has been great. Also I wouldn't judge any home set of supporters in general for not being up for a 12:30 game.AEK were amazing. Domestically I never like these things, there's too many differentials with kick off times, what's riding on the game, what our fans are like, what's happening on the pitch etc to be able to say one set of fans is better than another. I also have a pathological hatred for the sort of zany 'look at us having a whale of a time even though we're getting beat 5-0' antics that some people would see as good support. If you're getting beat 5-0 by us you should be absolutely raging and either staying just to let the players know how much you despise them with every fibre of your being, or seeing the last 2 being reported on soccer saturday in the pub you've been in for the last half hour.
I was at that game and will forever hate them for killing John ConnollyI remember the Altrincham fans having a great time in 74, when they nearly pulled off a huge 'giant killing'. I couldn't work out why most of the fans in the main stand were shouting 'Alty'. Must have been more than 10,000 of them.
Same here mate, i have the memory retention of a bathmat!I remember that but cannot decide whether it was Sunderland or Birmingham City (dodgy memory cells)
One night game here they only filled the big bit the old park end.I think even during their barren patch in the 70's and 80's, Man United always took huge crowds with them when they were on the road.
If I remember correctly, didn't Gary Jones deck the culprit with a tidy right hook and start walking off before the ref pointed to the tunnel?I was at that game and will forever hate them for killing John Connolly
