Glitch in the ad blocking matrix?

Don’t (knowingly) use an add blocker on iOS Safari, do use nordVPN but that doesn’t haven’t by default to the best of my knowledge.

Nothing changed in my settings etc (bar iOS updates) in ages.

Might the Russians or PRK.
Equally might just be ‘someone’ trying to hack my interwebs banking to pay for special Xmas biscuits.

I get them all the time from not letting a page load. Either by misclicking and clicking back or a different link before the page loads or just hitting links as they show before the ads load.
Mad thing is getting the thank you message the next day, when you look at your history and have 85 clean hits following that one "ad blocker" hit.

I find the red indicator top right comes on, click twice to make it green as ads to be shown on this site message pops up ... it's at your end Dan since the last major server back up .... My son had a look at it & told me how to overcome it - it was OK before ?

Anyway I just keep my eye on that red logo say adverts blocked ;) & it take seconds to get it working again ....

Your tablet doesn't block ads

Your computer blocks ads

As the adblock detector is based on your account there will be a crossover for about 20 pages between the two. So when you first use your tablet for a short spell it might say you're adblocking if you was recently browsing via your computer before the tablet.

Hope that makes sense.

I just keep my eye on it unpausing the ad block as much as I can it was fine for ages until that last servers update - my son has tried his best & he's a server engineer he cannot fix it on our main computer as the ad block in his opinion is set up to be permanently paused on the GOT .,
