We knew the rules for years and Moshiri just wanted to buy a midfield. But that’s beside the point. You claim it was the war that means we had no money, but that’s not true and you know it. We were skint and making huge losses before the war.

As did everyone else spending hundreds of millions of pounds every season. Convenient how the rules only started to be enforced when Central Government commenced motion for an independent regulator.

The PL only started enforcing the rules because they felt they had to. Hence why they didnt have a sanction policy in place.

Loads of people did say that £28m for Yannick Bolasie, £27m for Cenk Tosun, £45m for the babysitter, £12m for Ashley Williams, £25m for Theo Walcott, £20m for Morgan Schneiderlin, £30m for Michael Keane, £35m for Alex Iwobi, £20m for Andre Gomes, £30m for Yerry Mina, £25m for Davy Klaassen, £20m for Ben Godfrey, £10m for Fabian Delph and £20m for Allan were bad ideas actually. Have another go, you might get there eventually.
People said that this was a great deal when it happened.

It's not only the fees paid, it's the stupid wages offered and accepted by these very average players.

Very true. Now its not worked out, these fans act like they were begging for more years of Kenwright austerity.

They have as much credibility as Richard Masters claiming we should have forseen the Ukraine war - all whilst the PL had a TV rights deal with Russia.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Love how you attack the fans when its abundantly clear despite his initial investment which was abysmally spent and continued mismanagement of Everton has turned it into a joke of colossal proportions , fans wanted a club that was competently operated while being more competitive and that doesn't happen when you retain the services of bill kenwright and don't actually employ any people who know how to run a club or if you do bring someone with a modicum of football knowledge like brands you undermine every decision he makes. I'll let you get back to painting that mural of moshiri to convey your appreciation for making us a regular relegation threatened team , quite the legacy he has crafted

The same fans didn’t cry when we spent that money.

That's a bit below the belt mate.

Same 💩 fans from other clubs go on about and certain pundits who don't know anything.

At the end of the day we all entrust the welfare of the club and that includes the finances, to the people that run it. There's your starting point for the purchases a few years ago Rodrigez, Sigurdsson, Bolasie, etc etc.

Secondly, we're a football club, supposed to have been displaying some ambition in the transfer market. With Koeman and Ancelotti. That's what we're here for. No one should start preaching now about spending too much back then. We want the club to show some ambition and to an extent that's what we did. What does anyone want us to do when you have a wealthy owner and for example a manager like Ancelotti? We spend!!

It's the idiots running the club that have overseen all of this. And probably those guilty parties no longer there except Moshiri. He's been as useful as a chocolate fire guard when it's come to accounting. Which is bizarre considering he's meant to be an accountant. 🤷‍♂️

Not forgetting what we paid all their agents too.

That list should be pinned on the wall of every club owners office wall in the Premier League, of what not to do if you have money to spend.
