Section 256 of the report sums up how the league have treated the club

The commission say they've found some criticisms levelled against the club by the PL as "unwarranted, overstated, or both"

The club should absolutely be bringing that up and should keep repeating it. It's a very interesting part of the verdict.

Of course it’s corrupt. Doesn’t mean you lie down and say “yeah I’m happy with that” - we shouldn’t be doing ANYTHING (even just in fan discourse) that makes it easier or more comfortable for them.

I haven't said other wise mate. I never said we should be happy, what i said in the context of scope and punishments handed out to date that we've seen and been subjected to we've gotten off light.

My own take was we were going to get a minimum of four points - that was my expectation. I think we are guilty.

So first skim at the verdict- 5 points for the breach and scale, 2 points off that for double jeopardy, and only 1 point further off even though they mostly agree with both our early plea mitigation and our USM mitigation.

I think both the two points for DJ and only one for two successful mitigations are light. I think there is good grounds to get one more back on appeal.
