6 + 2 Point Deductions

Super Sunday double header before champions Liverpool’s crucial home tie against Man United live from Bramley Moore Stadium.
I've heard that there's a self destruct mechanism built into the new stadium, it activates if Liverpool fc get their hands on the deeds and the whole lot just blows up and takes 95% of the entire docks with it.

It’s ridiculous that Newcastle have to sell to buy, they’ve done brilliantly qualifying for Europe and reaching cup finals, securing good sponsorship deals and recruiting really well but the P & S rules are putting the breaks on their progress. What are they supposed to do, start charging London ticket prices to their fans to make more money!

Football is no longer about the ball, the pitch, the fans, history etc. Its a plaything for Dky and the corrupt power grabbers in the fa to get their willing hands on oil state cash. Give it up. Follow rugby or gardening or something.

Yup, as much as I dislike the whole Saudi sportswashing thing if Newcastle have the most money they should be able to spend the most money, just as United, Chelsea and City did when they had the most money. But the drawbridge has been pulled up.

It's easy to secure "good sponsorships" when it's the owner who's doing the sponsoring (like City). Who's the owner of Sela?😁

Still... Even an accountant who barley competent would just need to have one look at our trial balance, see how bad the numbers are and know that if we don't take corrective action soon, we're going to be in hot water...
I’ve read a fair bit that quite a few teams have been struggling to understand what can and what cannot be recorded under certain circumstances. A bit like what you can and can’t put down as a tax break for self employment in simple terms but a hell of a lot more complicated and complex in this case.

That would say to me that the rules are convoluted and given it was apparently “voted in by all 20 clubs” in 2014, the basic principles seem obscure leading to clubs falling foul inadvertently or inconsistent advice by the league throughout the last few years.
Either way, the administration of the sorry debacle of FFP/P&S is a shambles regardless of what shambles we are as a club. The bottom line is that as you can see, clubs are shedding players and costs to fit the arbitrary structure they put in to self preserve and as such, the PL is eating itself alive. Winner here is Perez and the super league crooks who looked at the prem in envy.

Incidentally, Mosh isn’t the main accountant as that would have been Ingles responsibility but secondly he was a glorified bag handler for Usmanov who incidentally has a boat in His six year old granddaughters name but that doesn’t make her a navy admiral does it?

No, think you need two boats for that rank.

Shouldn't be surprised at this.. the rules are doing exactly what they were designed to do.. they weren't rich at the time the rules were introduced so can't ever maintain a top 4 level.. a team qualified champions league then done over by sustainability rules meaning its more difficult to repeat what they've done..

The PSR are nothing whatsoever to do with making clubs more sustainable.

They were designed to maintain the status quo .

In their purest form they are protectionism.

A glass ceiling to protect the position of the established " top " clubs.

They are a destroyer of dreams and ensure that aspirational , ambitious clubs can never join the exclusive club.
