He was for a good chunk of the season where we had the 4th best defensive record. Whilst our points record improved after O'Brien started playing right back, our defensive record actually got a bit worse.
Overall we signed - not counting back up keepers, only 4 players all summer we had to negotiate a fee over (actually 3 as Aznoe was a buyout clause) Alcaraz was a prearranged deal from Thelwell, two others are loan deals.

Our main priority this summer was sorting us out going forward, because we've looked painful trying to construct attacks for many years. That's not to say RB wasn't a priority.
Our priority next summer will be the defence you would assume.
