He moves into space, controls well, and can pass. The more of that we get around Ndiaye and/or Alcaraz, the better.
Give us at least 1 pacy winger and 2 midfielders who can complete a pass and we suddenly have a real chance at transitioning on...
Would see McAtee as more of an attacking midfielder than a winger. El Khannous I've seen plenty of times at Genk. He always stood out as a very special talent. Not really followed him at Leicester, but that boy has bags of talent and potential.
Face it. We’re going to manage some business that makes us stronger but not elite, and inevitably we will sign too many in one area and still be missing a starting RB.
But by God this season will be more fun than the last several.
I'd probably take El Khannous over McAtee anytime. McAtee is ofc home grown, which is a big plus, but El Khannous is the better player I'd say. Have tbh though, seen al lot more of El Khannous than I did of McAtee.
Moyes is spearheading the recruitment process so if it doesn't come together for reason it's on him and he's been very optimistic this summer regarding signings which in the past he has always been transparent about even if it didn't bode well
In the 90s mate teams could make transfers all year round. Except for a couple of months at the end of the season - I think it was April and May when you couldn't buy, presumably so that teams could focus on the serious business of winning...
With all the new backroom staff I wonder who makes the final decision on buying new players, I still think its Moyes, hence all the delays. I would like to know what all the others do to warrant a payday at our club.
I didn't think I'd come up with it. My point is, they clearly aren't doing it are they? Trying isn't doing. City are the exception. They've gone all in. I don't understand with PSR etc, why teams wouldn't make it a priority? We've literally just...
2000 pages and we've signed one striker, activated a clause on a player we'd already done a deal on and signed a back up keeper. That's a whole lot of empty posting!
