If that rumour is true then we'll have to sign two forwards. Barry and someone else, I guess. I can't see us going into the season with only Beto and one other. However, this is Everton football club so anything could happen!

Very much doubt it. We'll spend some money, for sure, but not as much as some on here are thinking.

I don't think anybody is disputing that he's well liked and respected by his peers. He's just not a premier league player anymore.

Sure, averaged over his career he's been good value. Over the past five years, he has not. Not as a player anyway. He played the last game at Goodison, not on merit, but as a reward for his service. He lasted what, twenty minutes? He's done as a...

I am fairly unbothered by whether he stays or not but, it seems to me anyway, that the relationship between club, player and the fan base is now so fractured that it suits no one for him to stay so I hope he leaves. No hard feelings from me.

It’s not right, it’s a major part of what’s wrong with Everton being too nice. Hes past it and can’t stay fit. Again I’m a massive Coleman fan one of my favourites but there becomes a time for everyone to move on and his was this season if not a...

People often quote the sixty grand thing without considering the tens of millions in signing on fees, wages and bonuses he has accrued in his time here. He was an excellent player, and I'm sure a top bloke, but he hasn't been value for money for...

We must be in a really healthy financial position if we're able to hand out playing contracts to players who have proven themselves unable to stay fit for several years. I guess that can only be a good thing if you think about it.

It’s logical considering how much he plays. Also his experience and importance to the overall squad. And the fact that him, Pickford and tarks are the spine of the team and first names on the team sheet. We just gave Coleman a year and he plays...
