He ain't coming here to be backup fullback to a giant centre half. If he moves it'll be with the world cup in mind. He'll be looking for a club that sees him as first choice.

If our options next year for RB are O'Brien, Patterson and Coleman then it will have been a very poor window for us. A CB, a man who cannot stay fit and a player who has failed to win a place under multiple managers is not a plan for a key position.

Then I guess I don't understand your expectation for our new striker. Banging them in at 20 years of age in a top 4 league? Those guys are out of our price range (and there are only a handful of them).
