We were in an odd position where we desperately needed a striker (or 2) but had a starting striker.
I can see Beto starting and it going well, whilst Barry gets plenty of time to acclimatise and grow into his game without the immediate pressure...
Not too sure about Barry starting right away. Beto has been scoring the goals and doesn't deserve to be not starting. So long as he keeps the goals up, I don't see why he'd not start.
If we end up with a front 4 of for example:
Barry
N'Diaye Mcatee Kubo
It would be the most exciting forward line we've had since first year of Martinez.
Which is why the Evertonian in me Is sceptical and trying...
Lack of goals will bite us first and foremost. Can Kubo score? If they think yes, then he addresses an issue, pace or not
Pace for the sake of pace is useless, pace with end product usually runs high a lot of money as they all get hoovered up
Why are we STILL trying to undercut his release clause??
We know we are going to pay it eventually.
Get it paid now before West Ham or the Saudis rock up.
I’m still really curious to see what happens with Fellows. He seems to be coveted by a few - except West Brom?? Am I making things up in saying we agreed a pretty low transfer fee with them in January? Makes you wonder if 2 of these is possible...
Im not worried about lack of transfers, possibly held off announcing new stuff out of respect after the tragedy this week and if we are after Doak that won't happen for a bit now anyway.
I have faith in Moyes and think we will get players in...
